The Association for GXP Excellence (AGXPE) is pleased to hold this live Mid-Atlantic Chapter meeting at the home facility of one of our sponsors, Veeva Systems (601 W Office Center Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034). We invite you to join us at Veeva as we kick off Cinco de Mayo celebrations with Pepito!

Dr. Betsy Macht, DBA, CQA, CSSGB


Dr. Macht is a university professor on the faculty of Walden University serving as an instructor, dissertation chair & committee member. An accomplished industry leader with cross-functional supply chain experience she is a certified quality auditor, certified 6 sigma green belt, certified risk manager (CQA, CSSGB, CRRM) and teaches undergraduate students for the Xavier Health Pathway to Patient Health QA/RA program at the Univ of Minnesota and Lasalle University. She has also been a member of the board for the Fairless Hills, Pa YMCA, and is a member of the AI Experts Network.

She has authored papers on Data Quality for AI in Healthcare, Data Bias in Medical Device Development, Novel Coating Uniformity Models for Tablet Pan Coaters, Tablet Pan Coating Performance During Scale Up and Between Batch and Continuous Processes, Strategies to Influence a Quality & Compliance Culture, and a contributor to The Refractive Thinker®2022.

Other passions for Dr. Macht include photography, reading, and going to the beach. Her home environment includes a household of engineers and business majors with her husband, a chemical engineer (retired), oldest son a biomedical engineer holding an MS BME and MBA and engaged in arthritis research at Boston University, and youngest son holding a BS Business, MS digital marketing and engaged with Oxford University Press as a manager and lead contact for selected science journals.

Manny’s hands-on approach has provided practical, real-world solutions for countless companies. Manny holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Rider University and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State.
