The Association for GXP Excellence (AGXPE) is pleased to launch the Mid-Atlantic Chapter with this complementary (free) inaugural meeting.  

The new chapter leaders are listed below.

  • Secretary - Elizabeth Burger (UL)
  • Treasurer - Michael Langley (BMS)

The agenda will be as follows (all times are EDT):

  • 9:30am-10:00am – AGXPE Welcome, Mid-Atlantic Chapter intro and business – John Lewis (AGXPE Board President) and Shara Thati (Mid-Atlantic Chapter President)

Speaker Bios

Brant Engelhart

Brant Engelhart is the founder and President of QT9 Software that creates automated Quality Management Software along with ERP Software specifically for Life Sciences. Brant has spent the past 20 years developing technology that integrates organizations’ quality and operational processes with software automation.  His background includes Research and Development, Manufacturing in multiple industries, Quality Management, ISO and FDA Regulatory Compliance and Validation. Brant has multiple experiences implementing document control systems for small businesses to a variety of global entities and everything in between.

Corey Oravetz

Corey is currently a People and Product Leader in the Digital Transformation Office at Roche/Genentech.  Over the past 25+ years he has held numerous Leader and SME roles in Pharma and Diagnostics including Regulatory, Biometrics, Clinical Operations, and Informatics.  Earlier in his career Corey switched careers to work in the High Tech sector during the ".com boom" and worked as a Software Engineer and numerous Software Quality Assurance roles.  His favorite way to describe success in many of his jobs is "when the Business thinks he belongs in IT and when IT believes he belongs in the Business".  He also holds a B.Science in Biochemistry from U.C. Davis and has conducted several years of graduate level work in Plant Enzyme Kinetics.

On a personal note, Corey lives with his wife Dee, and their daughter Alli in the San Francisco Bay Area.  When not working he enjoys spending his time exploring the world, fly-fishing, and brewing beer.
