Event Summary

15% : Between positive deviance and compliance

Does the absolute compliance demanded by regulated industries push us towards quality or on the contrary encourages us to cross the thin line between professional rigor and mental rigidity? We will explore the concept of positive deviance in relation to regulatory requirements and by comparing the success criteria of our models.

Speaker Biography

François Lavallée presents dynamic and surprising interventions to stimulate participants' commitment and get them out of their comfort zone. An important part of the activities is dedicated to the animation of communities of practice in quality and complexity management.

Mr. Lavallée is the president of Aliter Concept, founded in 2005, a strategic pharmaceutical consulting business. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1994, and is one of the founding members of AGXPE, and a former  member of GMP TEA. 1- ZOOM

SUGGESTION /WARNING : Please turn TEAMS off while on a zoom meeting. Teams has a tendency to eject people from ZOOM when they exit the breakout rooms.

Advantage : you will not be tempted to answer messages from your TEAMS colleagues! ;-)

1.1 Getting Familiar with Zoom

To familiarize yourself with Zoom, listen to the following video (3 minutes)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAMDxH_H_Cs

You can also use your browser to open the link directly.

1.2 Audio Zoom

Headphones or good speakers will enhance your experience.

Don't forget to test it in Zoom by clicking on the microphone icon in the lower left corner.

TEAMS might interfere with the selection of speakers and microphone.

1.3 ZOOM video

Be careful not to have a window or other light source behind you to avoid glare.

Conversely, a light in front of you will make you videogenic and enhance the experience of others when you speak.

TEAMS might interfere with the camera selection.
