Thinking About Embarking on a Human & Organizational Performance Journey?  Presenters Jim Ball and Luisa Antonopoulos will share Takeda’s Massachusetts’ Biologics & Operations Human & Organizational Performance or HOP journey.  They are incorporating a multi-disciplined social science and engineering approach to risk management that improves workplace sociotechnical systems’ effectiveness and reliability through design, enhanced organizational learning, and resilience engineering principles.  They will share the key concepts on how their organization is embarking on this exciting HOP journey. 

 

Jim Ball is the Head of Human & Organizational Performance at Takeda, Massachusetts Biological Operations, responsible to lead the development and implementation of the integration of Human Performance principles & practices into manufacturing, safety, and quality operations. He has over 18 years management and consulting experience across talent development, manufacturing, and engineering disciplines with demonstrated success in leading cultural transformation, delivering strategic goals, and developing leadership to deliver excellence in Human Performance. Jim holds a B.S. in Physics from Boston College, and an MBA from Northeastern University. Jim is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and ICF Certified Executive Coach, and a Six Sigma Green Belt. His professional memberships include the New England Lean Consortium, ISPE, and the New England Veterans Chamber of Commerce.  

 

Luisa Antonopoulos is a Human & Organizational Performance Learning professional.  In her current role at Takeda Pharmaceutical she is responsible for the design, development and implementation of learning for Human and Organizational Performance principles and practical approaches to enhance operational reliability and resilience.  She has over a decade of experience in the Learning & Development field in the biopharmaceutical and defense industries.   Luisa holds a B.A. in Education Studies from Salem State College, and an M.S. in Adult & Organizational Learning from Suffolk University. Luisa is a Six Sigma Green Belt and her professional memberships include the American Society for Training & Development, GMP TEA, Inc. and AGXPE.
